Your tasks
- SPS programming and development for inverters, batteries, and renewable energy systems
- Technical evaluation and selection of power and control components such as inverters, transformers, and switchgear for our BESS projects in collaboration with product and project management
- Integration of various battery and inverter systems (SPS-based) into reliable functioning system solutions
- Carrying out tests and commissioning on test benches, as well as occasionally at the customer's site
- Establishment and maintenance of a local database infrastructure for capturing and analyzing system data to enable predictive maintenance and ML-based optimizations
- Implementation of visualization solutions (e.g. Dashboards) and programming/configuration of communication interfaces (Modbus, CAN) in coordination with our customers
- Development of tools and scripts in C/C++, Python, and Linux environments to support system control and data analysis
- Consideration of relevant VDE, DIN, and IEC standards in system development and commissioning
What you bring
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation, control engineering, computer science or a related field
- Solid experience in PLC programming (preferably IEC 61131-3 ST)
- Knowledge and experience in the field of power electronics and battery storage systems
- Basic Understanding of Electronic Components
- Proficient handling of C/C++ and Python as well as confident working with Linux systems and databases (SQL, NoSQL) advantageous
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to independently overcome complex technical challenges
- Very good German and English language skills
- Occasional willingness to travel for national and international customer assignments
